The project focuses its attention on the relation between a special type of information science research, which concerns the extension of the individual memory towards the global information, and the collective historical memory.
The enormous global container of digital information such as the Web, daily increases the amount of new data, and to pinpoint precise information becomes more and more out of human capabilities.
The scope of this research is to detect a path on the basis of individual specificities in a new methodology of intelligent search for global information, through a filtering system able to classify relevant data for the user’s memory-profile built, memorized an refined with time.
Through these systems, the insertion of a specific request can start a search that navigates independently for hours or even days within billions of data and languages, until it finds the data closest to the user’s personal individuality
The performance interacts whit this concept of new extension of the individual memory in relation to a temporal continuity of the collective memory, symbolically represented by a historical architecture of deep emotional impact, in a conceptual continuity that refers to
the personal mnemonic path that will leave its trace beyond the life of the single individual, in a “persistence of the memory” that losing the connotation of corporeity will last as a spiritual sign of itself.
The audio which will envelope the action will be made of the sounds coming from the astronomical space in different celestial frequencies, in a sort of simbolic representation of the “primordial language”.
